About Tyssedal Hotel

Tyssedal Hotel is a magnificent building from 1913, built in “Art Nuveau” style. It is located in a stunning and dramatic landscape with two national parks as it’s closest neighbors. 

 

The hotel is open all year and has 26 rooms of good standard with a total of 69 beds. 

The hotel has  a sauna, suite with jacuzzi, free parking, and first class A la Carte restaurant. 

All rooms are equipped with excellent bathrooms, comfortable beds, flatscreens with cable-TV and wireless internet. At the hotel there are several comfortable banquet and conference rooms of different sizes. 

Our famous art collection consists of paintings by Nils Bergslien but also “Garnbinderen” by Christian Krogh, and pictures of Morten Muller, Hans Dahl, Anders Askvoll and more. Ask the staff for a tour!
