Our history extends all the way back to 16 of May 1912

We warmly welcome you to our unique historic hotel that dates back to 1912, and contians a history most hotels only can dream of.

A visit to us is a trip through Norwegian history, art and culture. Besides this ,we are the closest hotel for guests who want to visit Trolltunga, and with this we can offer a unique overall experience, with the Norwegian nature as a wonderful supplement.

In addition to comfortable rooms, tasty restaurant, you can enjoy our world-renowned artcollection of paintings by Christian Krogh, Nils Bergslien, Morten Muller, Hans Dahl, Anders Askvold and more.

Our restaurant is one of the best restaurants in the Hardanger region and offers both Norwegian and international dishes. Besides that you can enjoy local beverages.

Our history is unique and outstanding. We have been serving guests for over 100 years.
