The location of the hotel was very scenic with fantastic views. I have not seen this level of customer service anywhere so I definitely recommend this hotel.

Dinner was amazing—the new chef is doing a fantastic job, so be sure to eat at the hotel restaurant! A delicious breakfast in the morning, and the décor is brilliant.

Outstanding location with superb view of the lake, mountain and waterfalls thru the room window. Lovely traditional decor and lovely food and very friendly hotel staff.

The hotel is located in a converted historical residence built in 1912. It has a unique blend of historical charm with modern well-equipped rooms and amenities. Think of wood floors, large open windows overlooking the fjords, and several fascinating paintings throughout the hotel. The hotel also had plenty of parking and electric charging stations for our rental car. Hotel staff were especially friendly and helpful with all our questions and travel needs.

Fantastic service. I have not experienced a better hotel service in Norway. The reception especiality was exceptional but also the restaurant staff was amazing. Very helpful in planning the Trolltunga trip. This hotel is worth a long detour. Good food.

Absolutely worth a visit if you plan too do the trolltunga hike. We have never had a better experience at a 3 hotel than this one. Top serviceminded staff, excellent dinning at the restaurant, beautifull wiev to Sørfjorden and the mountains and only a short trip with the shuttlebus to the startingpoint of trolltunga.

Possible nice view, but not from 107. Just straight into the hill at the back. The bathroom was good, no shower curtain. The TV was completely off course, both in terms of colours and channel selection. The kitchen was closed, so it was not possible to get food in the evening. Had to go back to Odda for dinner. The breakfast was quite OK.

The hotel is probably located for the needs of tourists visiting Trolltunga. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is great, the staff is very helpful and friendly. Special thanks to the gentleman at the reception, very nice and helpful. The dishes from the restaurant are tasty and contrary to what I read in reviews, we did not wait long. As for the prices, if you are already going to Norway, expect that it is not cheap, but prices are similar everywhere. A meal costs from 260 to 400 in an average restaurant. Thank you again for the friendly service.

Muy muy cerca de Trolltunga para comenzar pronto por la mañana. Desayuno de reyes. Habitación muy limpia. Acogedor. El chico de recepción pudo entender mi inglés. La próxima vez que vaya, son duda me hospedaré mínimo 10 días porque merece la pena

This was the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in for a long time. Booking was simple, and getting there was easy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Dinner was amazing—the new chef is doing a fantastic job, so be sure to eat at the hotel restaurant! The hotel is in a very quiet location with beautiful views from the windows. There’s also a sauna, a delicious breakfast in the morning, and the décor is brilliant. I’ll definitely want to come back the next time I’m in Norway.

Absolutely amazing hotel. The one thing that stood our for us was the friendliness of the staff. The receptionist Claudia deserves a promotion, she was absolutely amazing and helped us with everything we needed and answered all of our questions. She was really sweet and kind and went out of her way to help us. I have not seen this level of customer service anywhere so I definitely recommend this hotel for any future travellers. The other staff at the hotel were also sweet and kind to us. The location of the hotel was very scenic with fantastic views. It’s a 10 minute bus ride from Odda. The shuttle for Trolltunga also runs from near the hotel.
